38 years of diverse experience - and running.  I started as a single contributor, moved to a supervisor role, followed by manager then executive level (VP, COO, CEO). The past 10 years I've consulted and coached others in between executive positions.  Plenty of experiences and war wounds to provide insight, highly effective tips, tools, and most importantly - innovation. I'm not a career consultant nor coach that hasn't actually ran a business. Been there - and that puts me in a different space than those that have not had as much hands-on experience setting vision and strategies, hiring and developing leaders, and scaling organizations.

I am a life-long learner.  Reading leadership books, listening to podcasts, and studying, is a passion of mine; I'm continually absorbing information to add to the knowledge acquired over a life-time.  

Since childhood and throughout my career, I find myself gravitating toward helping small to medium sized businesses; they need the help and typically don't have as many resources available (time, talent, money).  Further, the last 12 years has been focused on family owned and multi-generational businesses.  Balancing family harmony, business health, and growth has been my passion.  I've been fortunate to have had a career that has put me in hundreds of unique positions and roles that I've had to figure it out, and have learned what works and makes great sense to owners and family businesses.

I've been involved with over a dozen different industries, private, public, and non-profit, from start-up to Fortune 50, domestic and international. I've learned how to identify patterns and see what is truly holding a business back from growth and health.  While I may not have worked in your industry, I'll guarantee swift assimilation and results.

I have worked my career at building healthy organizations; helping founders and leaders build their skills to tackle head-on constraints to growth and health.  I've consulted (project based), facilitated (retreats, strategy sessions), one-on-one coaching, fractional executive roles, and monthly retainer projects.  Regardless of engagement, I will pour into your business and work diligently to exceed expectations.

I certainly do and feel very blessed to have friends with expertise I can draw on.  After 3 decades of experience, I've been careful to develop and maintain high-integrity relationships.  From Finance to Facilities and all departments in-between, I can call on experts that are willing to jump in and help.  Great people (I would like to think people think of me as one) know great people.

We begin with unpacking desire / need and expectation.  Clearly identifying and defining these areas is very crucial. Together we define what success looks like.  I'll keep you apprised of activity and status, and will also hold you and your team accountable as necessary, just as you should me.  I don't work in a vacuum, and we will touch on success factors as we work together.  If you're not satisfied with what I've accomplished, then I'll either keep working till I do or you can pay me for the value you believe you've received
